At Capra Cymru, everything begins with our goats gentle, curious, and full of personality.
We’re a smallholding based in the heart of Carmarthenshire, where the rolling green hills and clean Welsh air give us the perfect setting to create something special.
Our journey started with a simple dream: to live closer to the land and make food that feels real again. What began as a few goats and a handful of experiments in the kitchen has grown into a passionate small-batch cheesemaking business one that celebrates Welsh produce, sustainability, and the joy of honest food.
Handcrafted with care
Every batch of cheese is made by hand, from start to finish. We collect the milk from our own goats, pasteurise it gently, and craft each round or tub with care no shortcuts, no mass production. Each flavour, from our smooth Plain Soft Cheese to the zesty Garlic & Chive and the sweet Cranberry, is created to highlight the natural richness of our milk.
From our farm to your table
Our cheese tells the story of where it comes from the fields our goats graze on, the fresh Carmarthenshire air, and the people who pour their heart into every step. You’ll find us most weekends at Carmarthen Market, chatting with customers, sharing tasters, and connecting directly with the community that supports us.
We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. No unnecessary additives, no artificial flavours just good, wholesome cheese made with care and respect for the animals and the land.
