Here are some of our favourite ways to enjoy Capra Cymru cheese:

 

🥘 Cottage Pie with Goat’s Cheese Topping

A family favourite with a twist!

  1. Cook your cottage pie filling as usual (minced beef or lentils with onion, carrot, and gravy).

  2. Spread mashed potato on top and bake until almost golden.

  3. Add spoonful's of Capra Cymru Goat’s Cheese across the top for the final 20 minutes.
    Result? A bubbling, tangy crust that takes comfort food to a new level.

 

🥗 Goat’s Cheese, Fig & Parma Ham Salad

A show-stopping lunch or light supper.

  • Arrange rocket or mixed leaves on a plate.

  • Add sliced figs, Parma ham, and generous spoonful's of our Plain or Cranberry cheese.

  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze or hot honey for that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and creamy.

🔥 Goat’s Cheese Nachos

A quick, easy snack that takes your movie night or market weekend up a level! The creamy tang of Capra Cymru goat’s cheese pairs beautifully with the spice of jalapeños and salsa.

Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips

  • Capra Cymru Goat’s Cheese (crumbled generously!)

  • Salsa or chopped tomatoes

  • Sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

  • Optional: guacamole, sour cream, or chilli flakes

Method

  1. Spread tortilla chips on an ovenproof dish.

  2. Add spoonfuls or crumbles of goat’s cheese over the top.

  3. Spoon salsa across the chips and scatter with jalapeños.

  4. Bake at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese softens and edges start to crisp.

  5. Serve immediately with dips or enjoy just as they are.
