At Capra Cymru, we believe great cheese deserves great care from our farm all the way to your doorstep.

Our tubs 🧀

All our cheeses are packed in sturdy, recyclable tubs designed to keep them fresh and delicious. Each one is sealed to lock in that creamy flavour while ensuring food safety and hygiene. We’re gradually moving towards fully compostable packaging as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

Eco-friendly chilled delivery 🌿

When you order online, your cheese is sent in special insulated boxes from Puffin Packaging an award-winning British company making planet-friendly alternatives to polystyrene. Their packaging uses sheep’s wool insulation, which is:

  • 100% biodegradable and compostable

  • Highly effective at keeping chilled products cool for up to 48 hours

  • Sustainably sourced and reusable

We add frozen gel packs inside to maintain the perfect temperature so your cheese arrives in top condition creamy, cool, and ready to enjoy.

Delivery schedule 📅

To make sure your cheese arrives safely and stays perfectly chilled, we only dispatch orders Monday to Thursday.

  • Orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will be shipped the following week.

  • We don’t ship over weekends to avoid your cheese being held in a courier depot.

This ensures every order reaches you as fresh and flavourful as it left our farm.

We know delivery can seem a little higher than average, but that’s because chilled products require specialised packaging and next-day shipping to stay safe and fresh. Every penny goes towards:

  • Temperature control

  • Reliable 24-hour courier delivery

We don’t cut corners when it comes to food safety or quality so you can trust that your cheese will arrive exactly as it should.
